“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
This book was a gift from a friend, an e-book.
I didn't know the author or the storyline.
And I'm not a fan of digital reading, but I decided to give it a try.
And the result? I really don't like reading e-books but Elizabeth Haynes has been a wonderful discovery for me!
It's a great surprise! It's a book with a very interesting story. It focuses on an unusual serial killer and in a very sad and disturbing story about feelings of hopelessness and solitude.
At first I found the narrative a little odd because there are many character's voices telling their stories. Then, in the end, it was a very effective way to tell a story because it kept me hooked and I couldn't put it down until I finished it.
If you enjoy crime novels, it's a good one for you!
P.S.: Again, English is my second language, ok? ;-)
