To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” (Ralph Waldo Emerson)

Everybody-loves-it-but-me

Hi there,

I am here searching for words (in English), to describing my feelings about the books I've just read.

Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes: 1/5 stars
I've read "Human Remains" and because I like it very much, I've bought it expecting to like the same way. But it didn't happen. It was very disappointing! Another one to my "everybody loves it but me" shelf. I really don't like this kind of story...

The Snowman (A Harry Hole Novel 7) by Jo Nesbo: 1/5 stars
It's an everybody-loves-it-but-me too. I'm a big mystery fan and I've read many mystery novels that were predictable, but at least they were exciting and interesting. Not this one. I've got bored with it. Sorry it's not for me.

Animosity by James Newman: 3,5/5 stars
I went looking for it because of the great reviews it received and from the reviews I expected a bit more. It's a very good book but I don't think it's awesome. One thing's for sure: that's why I prefer living downtown, rather than living in the suburbs!

P.S.: I do apologise (again) in advance if my poor English leads to any misunderstanding.
